Contribute to God’s Abundant Kingdom
It would be a monster understatement to say that this year has been extremely challenging as its been way beyond that.  Our patience and self-control have both been tested each day.  We continue to hold in our constant prayers unrest in our world, communities being impacted by fires, communities being impacted by hurricanes, all that have been impacted by Covid-19 and all that have lost their lives as a result of the virus.  Our God continues to go to work and calls you to be a faithful and trustworthy steward of the resources that have been given to you.
This year some words from Romans 12:12 come to mind, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.  Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.  How might you continue to contribute here in God’s abundant kingdom?
I am reminded of a lady by the name of Lois.  One of many ways that Lois directly participated in God’s work was helping to assemble and fold the weekly church bulletin.  She also often shared her spunky personality, good cheer and much needed humor.  What I love about contributing to God’s work is that it not only happens in a church building, but also outside of a church building.
I invite you to be prayerful as you work your way through this material because God is already going to work in and through you in a ministry of prayer, extending words of warmth to strangers, being attentive to needs, being patient in the hard times, and rejoicing in the hope of God’s future together.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THAT YOU DO AS A BELOVED CHILD OF GOD!
We plan to dedicate our time and talents and pledges as part of worship on Sunday, November 22nd at 9:30am.
